Phase Distortion, Nonlinear Filter, RMS....
Subtly warm and waft with Phase Distortion, add some dimension with Nonlinear Filter, topically heat things up alongside RMS with Faturator, and if all else fails go completely off the track with the quantize setting on Distortion. There are no wrong answers, just distorted ones.
